Three-Year-Old Twins -- Sneak Peek!

I always look forward to photographing twins.  There is a special kind camaraderie that exists between them that I don't always see with siblings who are of different ages.  And these two could take the cake on style. Check out these outfits -- they were just perfect.

How hip is he?!

This guy was a perfect little model for me.  He's only three and he could be giving adults tips on how to work it in front of the camera!

 

We got them together smiling...and holding hands! Yay!

More Sunny Sweetness

I'm so totally in love with the look of autumn sun and glowing blond hair.  I can't get enough of this sunny sweetness.  Have a look at the lastest pair of gorgeous girls to grace my camera's lens.

 

Sunny Tuesday

Brother had red hair and sister had blonde which was just perfect for the warm backlight that the November sun, so low in the sky, was kind enough to offer us on this glowing, beautiful day.  Long grass, warm sunlight, and a darling pair of angels...I couldn't ask for more.

 

Tahoe Fun

We went to Tahoe in search of snow, and not only did we find it, but we also found some beautiful spots by the lake and some lovely warm fall colors.  This was little A's first time to see the snow...I think he liked it!  Here are few of my faves from his session:

Puppy Love

So I have a little personal policy that I'll only do portraits of adults if there is a child in the picture or it's part of a child's portrait session...but when R called me to take pictures of her and her three golden retrievers, I couldn't help myself.  I'm a dog-lover and I have a huge soft spot for golden retrievers.  I guess I'll have to expand my policy to taking pictures of "doggie-kids", too.  ;-)

This sweet little dachshund jumped in mid-way through the session, along with R's sister.  The more the merrier!

Holding Hands

I'll never get over the sweetness of a brother and sister holding hands. Her darling pink cheeks and his dashing smile -- childhood is a magical time.

Boys Will Be Boys

These boys make a regular appearance on my blog -- the 2 yr. old and 4 yr old brothers that look like they could be twins.  I'd be happy to photograph them every month, but I'll settle for 2-3 times a year. ;)

Each time I see them again, they are more and more "boy".  Every other image has a finger up a nose, a tongue sticking out or a rear-end pointed at the camera...they definitely keep me on my toes and keep me coming up with new ways to get shots that their parents are going to love.  

A side note: I'm often warned by parents at the beginning of a session that their children might not be as well behaved as the children on my website seem to be. I always take this as a good sign because, kids are kids. They do what children were put on this Earth to do: run around, run away, jump, laugh, pout, pick their noses, cover their faces, play peak-a-boo with a persistence that is supernatural... you get the point.  I live for that stuff and wouldn't want it any other way.

Candy Cane Cutie

I can't get over the smile on this kid.  He's one of the happiest babies I've ever met, but it all makes sense when you meet his loving mom and dad.

Fall Colors

Gosh, I got back from my trip and the whole city was suddenly lit up with glowing yellows, oranges and reds.
