Mr. Handsome here was such a professional for his headshots.  From start to finish he was ready with his smiles and his oh-so-cool looks. He's almost five, but I felt like I was working with a teenager.  Thanks for being so much fun to work with, Brogan!

Brand New | Sacramento Newborn Portraits

Little Gianna was soooo good for her first photo shoot.  She slept almost the entire time and let me take lots of gorgeous, sleepy, yummy-newborn shots of her.  

Mom brought out this flower headband and I couldn't resist.  Pretty stinkin' cute, if you ask me.  I think my favorite part is how her hair sticks out the top of it.

Cuddles...can't get enough.

Hello, Papa!

Welcome, little one.  You are loved.

Oh. My. Goodness.

Oh. My. Goodness.  When I saw these big, dark eyes looking up at me when I arrived at their house, my heart just melted.  I got to spend the whole session just being simply mesmerized by photographing this handsome little man.

 

How can they not just cuddle him 24 hours a day?!  Well, I guess one has to eat some time...but I bet it's tough decision...

I absolutely adore his sun-kissed hand and his sweet button nose in this shot.

You can just about smell the sweet scents of summer sun and warm, clean cotton right through this image...

Warmth & Love | Los Angeles Pregnancy Portraits

I went down to LA last weekend to photograph this gorgeous mommy.  We borrowed an artist friend's Mediterranean house for the shoot and had some serious fun. We were surrounded by modern art and furniture, in addition to lush gardens, so we took full advantage and created some exquisite images.

Love Squared

There is a beautiful phenomenon in this world -- that of one's heart expanding endlessly in its ability to love.  Anyone could see how much love and respect these three have for one another and I look forward to watching there be even that much more love once their second little boy arrives.  I can't wait to meet him.

 

Their son was SUCH a joy to photograph.  Big dark eyes, infectious smile and those sweet little feet...I couldn't get enough!

Organic, heavenly, lovely.  I'm so glad I was there to capture these moments. 

New Sisters | Sacramento Baby Photographer

Sweet Eva is just three months old and sooooo beautiful.  I think my camera had a little crush on her because it just couldn't stop staring at her beautiful blue eyes and her rosebud lips.

Love this shot: kisses and squished faces...and I love, love, love their little hands, clasped together.

Sometimes, when I'm photographing children, I feel like I'm hunting for treasure, those perfect expressions often elusive, but always there. This little sun angel let me in on her secret flower world for a moment, and what I found there was beautiful.

I had so many favorites from this maternity session that it was tough to choose just a few for the sneak peek, but here they are -- beautiful and glowing.  

This baby is going to find so much love on the other side...just wait, little one...you'll see.

This family was so much fun to shoot.  They had a beautiful home in El Dorado Hills with so many great nooks and crannies for capturing their kids' personalities.  

Loved her son's overalls (and no shirt - so great!) and her daughter's pretty little summer dress. 

I couldn't help but do a little antique effect on this shot.  It's just classic.

Grandpa, uncle and Cole built this beautiful treehouse themselves.  

It's a pretty amazing treehouse!!

Ahh...love this.  He gave her the biggest hug right after this shot.  Made my heart melt.

What a beautiful family.  I felt lucky to have been a part of their day.
