Life & Curiosity | Sacramento Family Photographer

This lovely East Sacramento family found me through my newborn photography interview published in Sac Magazine last month, and on a lovely sun-filled afternoon, I met them and instantly connected with their energy. The parents were so calm and loving while the kids were filled with life and curiosity. 

The two boys are 6 year old fraternal twins and, eight months ago, they welcomed sweet "S" into their family. This being her first photo shoot, we gave her a little extra attention.

Isn't she BEAUTIFUL??? And full of smiles, too. She was such an angel.

 

 

The boys were so good and gentle with her. Lots of kisses and hugs.

 

And giggles in the grass. One of my faves.

Meet The...? | Sacramento Family Portraits

Even with as busy as I've been, I couldn't resist taking a moment to show you some beautiful shots of this family and their identical twin boys who are just a BLAST to photograph. They are so funny with such different personalities and jokes. Fun fact about these guys is they were in a movie when they were smaller. A hint...the movie title started with "Meet the..." Can you guess?

 

Birth Announcements

Christmas comes early for me when the holiday sessions start in August and don't quit until mid-December. Right about now is the busiest time of year with my packaging table piled high with gorgeous Christmas cards and picture boxes filled with sigh-inducing portraits, ready to be shipped out tomorrow morning.

I feel like I'm neglecting my faithful blog readers since I just haven't been able to keep up with all of the sneak peeks, but I promise to blog about them soon! I would be doing you all a disservice if I didn't put post some of these super-cutie-pie faces that I've been photographing.

In the midst of it all, I often forget to photograph some of the birth announcements that are custom designed for clients. I loved this set since I adore twins and thought I'd share some baby-goodness with you all. Are they just darling?

Twins are just too much fun. These two girls had my heart the first moment I saw them and they were such good babies for the camera. I can't wait to show mom and dad the rest!

Three-Year-Old Twins -- Sneak Peek!

I always look forward to photographing twins.  There is a special kind camaraderie that exists between them that I don't always see with siblings who are of different ages.  And these two could take the cake on style. Check out these outfits -- they were just perfect.

How hip is he?!

This guy was a perfect little model for me.  He's only three and he could be giving adults tips on how to work it in front of the camera!

 

We got them together smiling...and holding hands! Yay!

Pretty as a princess.

Warm Fuzzies

Definition #1 of "warm fuzzies" in the slang dictionary:

"The warm, pleasant sensations one feels in the stomach and heart area when emotionally moved by an act of goodwill or love."

Yup, that's how I felt.  There was so much love in this family it made me wish they were looking to adopt...me. ;-)

Ummm...does it get any sweeter than this?  I actually got choked up when I saw this image for the first time.  Such a tender moment.

Mom and Dad, so totally in love.  Like I said, warm fuzzies.  What a lovely family.

Twin Girls

Twin girls...little Payton and little Brekyn...already a couple of months old but still so small and fresh.  One blond, one brunette...so sweet.
